Fish Isaac's Ranch with Skate the Fly!
Monday, February 15, 2010 at 10:58AM If you've not fished Isaac's Lake Ranch... you should. This is one of the West's premier pay-to-play fisheries. Set near Coulee City in eastern Washington, there are two large lakes. One is managed for huge numbers of 20" Rainbows and the other for monsters up to 32". Fish feed on midge pupae, scuds, leeches, damsels, and callibeatis mayflies. These lakes are bug producing factories! Fish that are stocked at 14" in the Spring may well be over 20" by the fall.
If you are a beginner, there is no better place to get a feel for hooking and landing big fish than these lakes. Your learning curve will skyrocket. This is as close to a guarantee in fly fishing as there is.
More pics and testimonials upon request. Join us! Here is what the Seattle P.I. had to say.
